As a student research assistant at the Jacques Delors Centre, Sofía Gómez supports the work of the centre’s policy team primarily on economic, industrial, and labour migration policy, as well as skills-mismatches in the EU. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods at the University of Potsdam and has graduated from the Bachelor’s program Business Economics at the University of Halle. During her undergraduate studies, Sofía developed a keen interest in economic growth and public policy, which drove her to gain practical experience through internships at the OECD in Paris and the UN in New York.
