European elections 2024: Your vote counts!

The 2024 European election year is just around the corner and with it the chance to actively shape the future of Europe. For the first time in Germany, 16-year-olds will also be able to cast their vote in the European elections. Together with the Jacques Delors Centre at the Hertie School, we therefore cordially invite pupils and accompanying teachers to an information event that will take place on 28 May at 10:30 a.m. at the Hertie School. Together we want to discuss why it is so important to vote in the European elections, how a single vote can make a difference and how to protect yourself from fake news. We want to guide students step by step through the election process so that they know exactly how to cast their vote and what it means.

We are particularly keen to support pupils in this important phase of political participation and give them the opportunity to ask questions and obtain information. We look forward to an informative and interactive exchange.
