In a podcast by HR info, Thu Nguyen explains how the Corona pandemic changed the priorities of the German Council Presidency.
Thu Nguyen dampens the expectations towards Germany's upcoming Council Presidency. The top priorities are three dossiers that are as urgent as they are challenging- the recovery instrument for the European economy, the multiannual financial framework and Brexit. Regarding other issues, such as the European Green Deal, the German government must "manage expectations. This is more a matter of kicking off than bringing things to an end," Nguyen said in the interview with HR Info.
