Several media outlets, such as Tagesschau, Das Parlament, as well as Deutschlandfunk reported about a study of Jacques Delors researchers Eulalia Rubio and Jörg Haas for the European Parliament. The decision of the UK to leave the EU will force the bloc to make tough decisions: It can either increase national contributions in order to fill the gap that the UK’s departure will create, or decide to cut European programmes.
