The Börsen-Zeitung quotes Lucas Guttenberg and Sebastian Mack who demand to tie the EU Recovery Fund to restrictive criteria for sustainable finance.
The Börsen-Zeitung refers to the policy brief by the two experts in which they warn against the negative implications of weak climate criteria for climate protection in Europe as well as for global standards in green bond finance. „So far, the criteria for climate-friendly investments lack teeth“, criticize the experts in their policy brief. If the criteria for green bond finance are too weak, this could have negative consequences for the sustainable finance agenda of the European Commission.
