Pietro Veldhuyzen is a Student Research Assistant focusing on the Finances of the European Union at the Jacques Delors Centre. He contributes to the DFG-funded project “Reconfiguring Europe: Between Competence and Control,” led by Prof. Markus Jachtenfuchs. Pietro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Leiden University, where he specialised in European politics and Euroscepticism. In addition, he is pursuing a Master's of International Affairs with a concentration in European Governance at the Hertie School.
