Pola Schneemelcher is an Affiliate Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre, covering the Economic and Monetary Union, European Single Market and Social Europe. Her research focuses on the European fiscal and budgetary policy, taxation of the digital economy, and social inequality. Previously, she worked as policy advisor in the field of economic and financial policy at the German Bundestag and the Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Pola Schneemelcher holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Hertie School, a BSc in European Studies from Twente University in the Netherlands and a BA in Public Administration from Münster University. She received a scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation.
