Lucas Rasche is a Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre, covering Migration and Foreign and Security Policy. His research focuses on reforming the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), the external dimension of EU migration policy as well as EU foreign and development policy. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna, where he co-founded the grassroots think tank Ponto. Lucas studied European Studies in Maastricht and Hong Kong and received an MA in Conflict, Security & Development from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
