Dr. Martin Moland is a postdoctoral researcher in the DFG-funded Research Unit "Reconfiguring Europe: Between Competence and control" at the Jacques Delors Centre. Here he works for the Coordination Project, together with Prof. Markus Jachtenfuchs. Prior to beginning at the Hertie School, Moland did a PhD in Political Science at the University of Oslo and served as a postdoctoral researcher and WP co-head in the ERC project "RECLAIM: Reclaiming Liberal Democracy in the Postfactual Age".
Moland's work focuses mainly on public opinion towards European integration, and on understanding the root causes of popular Euroscepticism. His work has featured in leading European political science journals like West European Politics and JCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies.
