Franziska Loschert is a PhD researcher at the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a dual master's degree in governance and international politics from Aston University Birmingham and the University of Bamberg. Her research is funded by the Heinrich-Böll Foundation. Her PhD research, supervised by Prof. Markus Jachtenfuchs, focuses on the influence of public politicisation of the European Union (EU) and immigration on the preference formation of EU member states and ultimately, on EU policymaking.
