Merve Kambur is an Associate Grant Administration at the Jacques Delors Centre and an Associate Third Party Funding (TPF) at the Hertie School. She is responsible for administering funds and projects, with a specific focus on fundraising projects and endowed professorships at the TPF office. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Dokuz Eylül University and a Master's degree in Journalism from Ankara University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Journalism at the Media University in Berlin. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she worked as a Communications and Support Program Specialist on several EU-funded projects, including Sivil Düşün, Civil Society Dialogue, Civil Society Support Program, Media for Democracy, and Press for Freedom. She also supported the PR and communication activities of the German Sparkassenstiftung Turkey and the social media presence of the Allianz Foundation. She has significant experience in developing and implementing democracy support programs in Turkey.
