Merve Kambur is responsible for administering funds and projects, with a specific focus on fundraising projects and endowed professorships at the TPF office. She has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Dokuz Eylül University, a Master's degree in Journalism from Ankara University, and another Master's in Digital Journalism from Media University in Berlin. Before joining the Hertie School, Merve worked on several EU-funded projects like Sivil Düşün, Civil Society Dialogue, Civil Society Support Program, Media for Democracy, and Press for Freedom. She also worked in communications for the German Sparkassenstiftung Turkey and supported social media work for the Allianz Foundation. Merve brings extensive experience in developing and implementing democracy support programs in Turkey.
