Jannik Jansen is Senior Policy Fellow for Social Cohesion and Just Transition at the Jacques Delors Centre. His work explores the economic and social dimensions of Europe’s green transformation and how EU policies can guide regions, industries, and citizens through the transition while sustaining public support and cohesion. His research further examines the political dynamics shaping EU policymaking, particularly around the European Green Deal. Before joining the Jacques Delors Centre, he worked on European employment and social policy at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Jannik holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Cologne.
