Philipp Jäger is Policy Fellow for European climate and economic policy at the Jacques Delors Centre. His research focuses on the interplay of the climate package Fit For 55 with the macroeconomic development and the institutional set-up in the EU. Previously, he worked as Economic and Policy Analyst for the EU Commission, primarily on the Recovery and Resilience Facility, which was created as the EU’s economic response to the Covid pandemic. Other work experience includes the Berlin FinTech N26 and a management consultancy. Philipp studied Philosophy and Economics in Bayreuth, Harvard and Berkeley and received a Masters degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
