Johannes Hemker is an Affiliate Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre, where he works primarily on European economic policy and the euro area. In his day job, Johannes works as a Cabinet Advisor in Berlin state government. His prior experience includes work with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, the World Bank, the European Commission and New York City’s Independent Budget Office. Johannes holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University in New York.
