Lisa Dellmuth is Professor of International Relations (IR) at Stockholm University and Director of PhD Studies in IR at the Department of Economic History and International Relations. Her research focuses on global governance with a particular focus on legitimacy and climate change. During her time at the Jacques Delors Centre, Lisa Dellmuth studies citizen beliefs in the legitimacy of European and global governance.
Dellmuth’s previous books are Citizens, Elites, and the Legitimacy of Global Governance (OUP, 2022) and Is Europe Good for You? EU Spending and Well-Being (BUP, 2021). Her research has also appeared in American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, and PNAS. Dellmuth was a post-doctoral fellow at Stockholm University and the Stockholm Resilience Centre, and a visiting fellow at Duke University, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Bergen, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
