The European Semester is the framework for the monitoring and coordination of the economic and fiscal policies of EU member states. This policy paper by Valentin Kreilinger proposes minimum standards for the participation of national parliaments in the European Semester and the creation of an interparliamentary working group in order to increase national ownership and democratic control.
