Brexit will shake up the EU budget – and that’s a good thing

Brexit will leave a large gap in the EU budget. In his Policy Brief, Jörg Haas argues that this puts net contributors like Germany in a difficult position, but it also offers a historic opportunity. If Germany plays its cards right, it can contribute to a comprehensive reform that renders EU financing and spending more transparent and more effective.
