Philipp Jäger is Senior Policy Fellow for European climate and economic policy at the Jacques Delors Centre at the Hertie School. His research focuses on European industrial policy for the green transition and on the interplay between EU climate policy and macroeconomic developments. Before joining the Jacques Delors Centre, he worked as an economic and policy analyst at the European Commission. He studied philosophy and economics in Bayreuth, Harvard and Berkeley and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
