Rethinking multilevel governance

A presentation by Arthur Benz (Professor emeritus of Political Science, TU Darmstadt). This event is hosted by the Centre for Sustainability and the Jacques Delors Centre as part of the Sustainability Colloquium Series and the EU Governance Colloquium

At this colloquium, Arthur Benz will present his research on the topic of multilevel governance with a focus on climate policy, in a discussion with Mark Dawson, Professor of European Law and Governance at the Hertie School. Arthur Benz is Professor emeritus of Political Science at the TU Darmstadt. Between 2010 and 2019, he was the head of the research group “Comparative Politics and German Government”. His book Rethinking Multilevel Governance (Edward Elgar) was published in August 2024.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the chance to discuss and ask questions. This session will be moderated by Christian Flachsland
