Meet the Jacques Delors Centre

At the Jacques Delors Centre (JDC) academic research goes hand in hand with the development of concrete ideas for future-oriented EU policies. But what does the daily work of the Centre look like and what role does the Centre play within the wider Hertie School Community? On 12 September from 10:30am – 12:00pm, our team will present their work in the Henrik Enderlein Forum (Hertie School).

The event will begin with an introduction of the JDC itself and our two working arms: Research and Policy. Our co-director, Prof Mark Dawson, and incoming acting co-directors Dr Thu Nguyen and Dr Nils Redeker, will give an insight into daily life at the Centre and what work on EU governance looks like. This will be followed by a presentation of the Certificate in EU Governance and the EU Mentoring Programme for students interested in EU affairs. Finally, a leading member of the futurEU inititative will present an exciting agenda for the academic year ahead.

Please note: Registration is required, sign up using the button to your right!

The event will be concluded with some light catering and refreshments, where you will have the chance to mingle with JDC faculty and fellows to discuss all things EU.
