Are you an incoming student at the Hertie School? Then you may very well have heard of the Jacques Delors Centre (JDC) – and if not, this is the perfect event for you!
At the JDC, academic research goes hand in hand with the development of concrete ideas for future-oriented EU policies. On September 30, our team will present their work in the Henrik Enderlein Forum at the Hertie School.
Our calendar is always packed: from organising events with high-ranking policymakers – such as President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, President of the Central European Bank Christine Lagarde, or Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares Bueno – to writing and publishing policy briefs and research articles, we are working around the clock on everything related to EU governance.
“Meet the JDC” will include an introduction of our two working arms: Research and Policy. This is a great opportunity to meet Mark Dawson, Co-Director of Research, and Thu Nguyen, Acting Co-Director of Policy. Furthermore, you will gain insights into the Certificate in EU Governance as well as the EU Mentoring Programme.
But not only will JDC employees be there. The futurEU student club will also introduce their plans for the upcoming academic year. Who knows – perhaps you’ll be inspired to get involved yourself?
