Other platforms are also repeatedly suspected of distorting democratic competition through opaque algorithms and foreign influence campaigns. How can the EU respond to these developments? And what rules are needed to safeguard freedom of expression and democratic integrity in the digital space?
At the EU to go breakfast, Luise Quaritsch and Philipp Darius from the Centre for Digital Governance will analyse the current threats to online discourse in Europe - and what Brussels can do about them.
