Follow-up: EU to go: America First, Europe at Risk? - Germany and the EU between federal elections and Trump

Before the working day begins, there will once again be a short input on a current EU topic. Start the day with us, fresh croissants and coffee. On-site only, seats are limited.

ATTENTION NEW DATE!

Trump is back - and with him punitive tariffs, trade conflicts and geopolitical uncertainty. While he is freezing US aid for Ukraine and seeking closeness to Putin and Europe's economic risks are growing, Germany is in the process of forming a government. The challenges at EU level are great and the tasks for which Germany needs to be able to act are acute.

At the EU to go breakfast, Nils Redeker, Thu Nguyen and Arthur Leichthammer will analyse what is expected of the next German government and what decisions need to be made at European level, particularly on trade issues and defence funding.

The format: the topics and analyses will be presented in 20 minutes, followed by a ten-minute discussion. The event ends at 9.00 a.m. after just 30 minutes.

    8:30 a.m.: Expert input
    8:50 a.m.: Question and answer
9:00 a.m.: Off to the office
