A Union of security and solidarity: Building a fair, green and competitive European economy with Paolo Gentiloni

Many of today’s key policy issues fall into Paolo Gentiloni’s portfolio at the European Commission. How can we build a sustainable and competitive economy in the European Union? How to keep the Union together in times of high prices and huge investment needs? The Jacques Delors Centre is very pleased to welcome the former Prime Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, who became European Commissioner for Economy right before the start of the pandemic. With his vast experience in crisis management he will give us an insight on how to guide the European Union and its Member States through these challenging times. He will elaborate on his ideas for the future of the EU and is looking forward to discuss them with you.
