In an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung, Henrik Enderlein considers the German coalition talks “disappointing” from a European perspective. Until now, agreements between the CDU/CSU, the FDP and the Green Party are characterised by little content but many conditions. Moreover, the “Jamaika” parties have not been responding to the reform proposals brought forward by French president Emmanuel Macron and Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker – a mistake, as Enderlein explains.
