After a controversial court decision in Poland, tensions are strained between Warsaw and Brussels. In a recent interview with the Financial Times, Policy Fellow Thu Nguyen weighs in.
The court ruling claimed that the Polish constitution takes precedence over EU law in some cases, and has led to fears of a "Polexit" occurring. Nguyen calls this ruling "unprecedented" and suggests that "letting these things slide..would mean that we may as well give up on the EU project.”
