In Die Welt am Sonntag Dr. Anna Stahl calls for the cooperation with China - but not in all areas.
The relations between the EU and China have been in crisis for some time now, and China’s handling of the corona crisis is sowing further mistrust. Nevertheless, Anna Stahl emphasised in the Welt am Sonntag that Europe must stick to its cooperation with China. "We need China to solve global problems," argues our China expert. She points out the importance of the planned EU-China investment agreement, which seets to facilitate trade between the two partners. In areas such as technology and health, Dr. Stahl argues that the EU should strengthen its strategic sovereignty in relation to China.
