Deutschlandfunk - Baerbock's first trip as Foreign Minister

In an interview with DLF, Affiliate Policy Fellow Henriette Heimbach speaks about Annalena Baerbock's inaugural visit to France. The interview focuses on potential points of cooperation and conflict between France and Germany under the new German government.

There are many potential points of cooperation between the two nations over the next several years. For example, the Recovery Funds, which have fostered Franco-German cooperation in the past and will likely continue to do so. However, climate policy, atomic energy, and the Strategic Compass represent potential points of conflict, according to Heimbach.
