Dr. Yannick Bury is a Member of the Bundestag (German Federal Parliament) for the CDU party as well as a member of the budget committee. Previously, he worked as an economist and project lead at the Walter Eucken Institut in Freiburg and as personal advisor to Andreas Schwab, MEP, in Strasbourg. Before that, he took up internships at the Berenberg Bank in London and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Shanghai and Singapore. Yannick Bury studied national economics at the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg and achieved a Doctor rerum politicarum in 2024. He held several county and district chairs in the youth organisation of the CDU party (Junge Union), became a member of its national board and chairman of its international commission in 2019 and since 2024 has been the chairman of the CDU district association in Emmendingen.
